A successful gearbox depends on not only the gears and gearbox housings, but also the proper matching of other parts in order to get the best performance. IDP has been improving the quality of gears and housings. Now we start to design and produce other related parts, such as seals, stamping parts and bushings. This allows the design of the gearbox to be more flexible, and greatly increases the life of the product.

Screw / Nut set

IDP utilizes special engineering plastics to make low-friction and high strength nuts. We also adjust thread parameters to minimize the gap. The screw nut set we produce can replace most of the applications of ball screws for just a third of the cost.

O-rings

O-rings currently on the market often fail to meet the sealing requirements of IDP, especially with regard to the sealing effect on the rotating shaft. As a result, IDP has developed its own line of well-sealed, wear resistant O-rings to enhance the efficiency of the gearbox and the pump.

Stamping Parts

After many research trials, IDP found that if the properties of the stamping parts are applied well, they can greatly enhance the performance of the gearbox. As an example, the bottom cover of a gearbox can be made by a stamping plate, which can both tighten the tolerance of the center distance for gears, and increase the overall strength of the gearbox.
